Dance Company Off/Balance is a collaborating partner in VILLIT – THE WILD ONES, a large-scale immersive multidisciplinary performance led by Routa Company and choreographer Sari Palmgren. Premiering in Kajaani, Finland, in August 2026, the production invites audiences to explore, discover, and experience a world of movement, music, sound, and an ever-evolving living landscape.
Spanning the historic Kajaani Seminary building, the performance allows each audience member to choose their own path and create a unique experience. Exceptional in its scale, VILLIT brings together more than 100 performers, including professional artists, hobbyists, and members of local communities. The production is built through extensive collaboration, with Off/Balance represented in the cast by dance artist Katja Sallinen.
VILLIT is part of the Oulu2026 European Capital of Culture programme and the Kajaani 375 anniversary celebrations.
